Blubulb offers skillfully refurbished industrial and vintage lights, disassembled and restored as necessary to ensure reliability and satisfaction. We clean with a “light hand” to retain and reveal the intrinsic beauty and patina that are part of each fixture’s history and enduring design.

Vintage industrial lights possess attributes of honesty and simplicity that complement a variety of design aesthetics from traditional to contemporary. All of our lights are durable, striking, and timeless pieces; and all are offered with pride and the promise to beautifully “illuminate” your surroundings.

Fundamentally, we supply lights to those who seek the timeless and enduring attributes of antique industrial lighting and to those who wish to soften their footprint by using carefully refurbished lights with decades of useful service remaining.

Blubulb Vintage Lighting arose from the easy collaboration of a family with an interest in enduring design and a passion for “re-use.” In 2003 Toni and I acquired an 80-acre WI farmstead picked clean of the simple objects that would earlier have been woven into its common fabric.

In the effort to restore our turn-of-the-century farmstead, we began the search for lighting. Thousands of fixtures later, that quest has “illuminated” our home and blossomed into the endeavor we call 'Blubulb.'

The range and quantity of our fixtures goes well beyond the inventory shown on our website. Please contact me if you are looking for one or multiples of any industrial light fixture. We live on 80 rolling acres, so if you’re not particularly interested in old lights, and would rather stroll through our 40-acre prairie restoration or enjoy the calm and natural surrounds . . . that’s fine too. We welcome visitors, and we’re always looking for a reason to make a fresh cup of “pour-over” coffee!
